Newsletters
i've been working on a team newsletter at work. with over 300 employees, it's important to me to have our smaller connection team know each other. this way we have someone to talk to, to go to for help and to make it not all seem so big.
this project was both good and bad. good because we got to know each other and because i got to use my design and layout skills in a job where i would not otherwise do so, but bad because try as i might, i just couldn't get anyone to participate beyond submitting questionnaires. and even that was like pulling teeth. eventually, the store leadership decided that we were going to have an all-store newsletter and ixnay the current small team ones. i'm bummed because i really liked doing this, but i was going to run out of things to write about eventually anyway.
